Quantity Surveyor – County Wexford

An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen in Wexford for a specialist company with a range of different Architectural Metalwork services.  With an ever-increasing portfolio of clients, they require a Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to continued expansion.

Reports to: Commercial Director

The Role

• Cost control and monitoring
• Subcontractor and supplier procurement
• Assisting with tenders and completing tenders
• Monthly valuations and variations
• Programming of works
• Contract supervision
• Company development
• Pre and post contract administration
• Subcontractor and supplier claims
• Work with site management
• A new ERP system, STRUMIS, was recently installed.  One of the main roles initially will be to set up estimating, pricing, valuations etc. onto this new system

The Candidate

• Desire to work for an established company in a long-term position – with excellent scope for development
• A competitive salary is offered dependent on experience
• This position requires a clean Driver’s License and be authorised to drive in Ireland
• Have good verbal and written English
• Interested candidates must currently reside in Ireland and have EU working permit status

Qualifications

Requirements

• Qualified Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 4+ years experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Package
